   WEBMASTER REPORT:

Have continued being active to keep the district 17 website updated as well as the website at Hostek Web Host site for District 17. This has been performed in my home office.

On Tuesday, November 25, 2014 notified AT & T about increase in phone bill and was told that the increase was started November 1, that would cost the district 17 phone bill to be increased to $61.00 a month.

On further research I discovered that back in 2011 had agreed to a 20% monthly discount on phone bill with a 2-year contract. The district paid then an average $36 a month. The contract expired in 2013 and since the phone bill has experienced two increases with the current monthly rate.

Discovered that Erik Renninger (212-3874-4059) AT &T was responsible in giving the district the 2-year contract 20% discount rate (er773a@att.com). I left message on voice mail and sent an email for some assistance or that the district will find other means for our phone service. AT&T support 1-800-288-2020.

On Tuesday, December 2, 2014 our new 15-day trial period expired on the software EZVoice 3.5 and attempts to activate were unsuccessful. All copies of EZVoice information and emails are in folder inside the district office cabinet. Have sent emails for support.

On Wednesday, December 17, 2014 having new information for EZVoice 3.5 from support, was successful in activated the AA Hotline #0900 and the Hotline is back in business. Further performed Windows updating on district office computer and updated option #9 on AA Hotline local AA events and information.

On Wednesday, December 31, 2014 checked into the district office for monthly updates.

The District 17 Office has _800_meeting cards in drawer.

The 0900 AA Hotline registered 18 hits from December 17 thru 31.

The District website recorded _206_ hits this past month with the counter at 9,601 total hits.

On Wednesday, January 21 reported to district office to work on getting the AA Hotline 0900 back on line. Unable to record new messages something to do with having no sound card. Will further research.

On Monday, January 26 reported to district office for updates and attended the monthly GSR meeting at 6 p.m.

The District 17 Office has _750_meeting cards in drawer.

The 0900 AA Hotline registered_ 8 _ hits from January 21 thru 26.

  3. He will check on cost of package deal with Charter
  4. John made the motion to OK and Deb seconded.

   NEW BUSINESS:

   John asked 2 questions:

Would appreciate financial report and is district 17 broke? Answer is NO, but Alano club in Iron Mountain is in trouble.

Also stated groups want to know where money is going and would like itemized reports.

Bruce stated we have no Secretary and no DCM

Note to Mark to double check email for minutes communications problems

There should be a new listing for Area 74 for the “Now and Then”.

Cliff made a suggestion to find a secretary by searching meetings and to relinquish everyone’s address for email or snail mail so all will be better informed.

Meeting closed at 7:00pm with The Lord’s Prayer.

   Respectfully submitted by Roxie M.
