                                                  A.A. Area 74 / District 17 Corrections Report 11/29/06

Received all pamphlets requested from Dylan N. for all correction meetings with in our district. Once again Dylan served our district with dedicated concern and effort, as things like this are time consuming for the individual doing the leg work. All involved in District 17 Thank You Dylan.

Stopped by Camille store and gave her pamphlets and some N.A. material from that fellowship for Dickinson County Women's A.A. Corrections Meeting. She could use another person to help out as one can get burned out from doing these meetings, at present two woman Shelly and Camille are it and Marion pitches in once in a while, but her plate is full as she helps and guides quite a few people down the path of recovery in our area. If interested, must have two years clean and sober, contact me Dennis S. 906-563-9003. (11/3/06)

Mailed pamphlets out to Keith K. for distribution to the A.A. correction meetings in Iron County. (11/3/06)

Gave Marion Pamphlets and Daily Reflections book to be forwarded to Bob L. whom does the Florence County A.A. Correction Meeting for men. Also, Terry M. has recently joined this meeting with Bob (11/3/6)

Brought in A.A. pamphlets, can of coffee, and last of NA material to Dickinson County Corrections. Coffee is used for both Men and Women's A.A. meetings. Any NA material is provided by local Na fellowship, I bring it in as the are no other chances for inmates to have access to such literature, and most that come down for A.A. meeting are dual addictives. I also made up How It Work sheets for everyone to be a part of the reading and a new box special for A.A. stuff. (11/7/06)

Talked to Cliff W. in regards to having District Corrections book order for Camp Ottawa sent directly to Keith K. since he does that. Order was approved at last month's district meeting as no one opposed. Our whole district is sponsoring this meeting. All concerned in corrections are extremely grateful for the support and provisions. (11/12/06)

Dylan N. called to confirm he got our districts thank you letter and to check in & see how things are going for us up here. He will continue to stay in contact and was happy to give him a good report. (11/26/06)

Camille said if any groups are interested the women's group could use a few more Reflections and a couple of 12X12'S.

Respectfully and Gratefully submitted; Dennis S.
