 GSR meeting

 

The monthly GSR meeting was held February 24,2018 at the Iron Mountain, Mi. Alano Club. In attendance were: Angie Z, Linda P, Bruce L, Karen K, Cindy S, Patty G, Armand B, Scott V, Dave G, Betty S, Dan I, Kyle D, Larry L.

 

The next meeting is scheduled for March 26, 2018 at 6:00pm at the Alano Club.

 

DCM Report:

 

Secretary Report – Angie Z: They’re will be lots of attachments. Our flyer for our D.17 intergroup is done. There’s a Women’s Retreat in April, Dan I , Public Information and AA literature m-27 to follow.

Corrections Report:

Cindy S: Jim B is asking for volunteers for Dickinson County. Jim Get a hold of me I’ve got someone interested, I’ve got their email for you. And Jim says Thank for the coffee. Cindy also talked to Debbie G, and says there is nothing new to report.

Larry L: The Monday night group is donating books for the jails.

Scott V: Corrections in Florence, not too many takers.

WEBMASTER REPORT for FEBRUARY 2018

No changes have been made to legacy web site.

The Webmaster has purchased two books:

     WordPress, the missing manual, O’Rielly, ISBN 978-1-449-34190-9    ($29.99)

     PHP, MySQL & JavaScript, All-in-one, Pearson, ISBN 978-0-672-33770-3   ( $44.99)

The webmaster is trying to get the new site to look good on the following web browsers

     Windows Internet Explorer

     Google Chrome

     Apple Safari

     Mozilla Firefox

 

A hosting service for the new website has not been selected/committed to.

 I apologize for not making more progress in February but my schedule has been consumed by pressing business concerns limiting the time that I’ve been able to devote to the website project.

 

GRASSHOPPER (District HOT-LINE)

 

There were few ( about 6)  calls to the hotline in February.

 

BY E-MAIL:

 

       Have continued being active to keep the district 17 website updated as well as the website at Hostek Web Host site for District 17.  This has been performed in my home office. 

     The District website recorded _294_ Home page hits in the month of February with the counter at 20,035 total hits as of 2-26-18.

Angie Z: Ask Cindy S. to meet together to look at all our meetings and see where we’re at in our D.17

 

Larry L: We’ve finally got enough money to purchase our Speaker Systems for our intergroups. We should have it by our next intergroup.

 

Intergroup: Karen K and Cindy S

Karen K: We’ve got to New names to put on our account for our D.17. Those New names are Cindy S, And Dave G. We will keep Don  on there and We agree UNAMIOUSLY to drop Jennifer and Steve. And I would like to introduce Kyle D, as a New GSR . We gave him paperwork to fill out. We’ll be paying a 200 dollars for our intergroup at the church. We’ve already got our speakers for our intergroup. I’ve got papers for us to take to our meeting to helps us with the dishes to bring HOT/COLD. And still looking for people to help in the kitchen.
