District 17 GSR meeting

 

The monthly GSR meeting was held July 30, 2018 at the Iron Mountain, Mi. Alano Club. In attendance were: Angie Z, Cindy S, Patty R, Betty, Jim B, Larry L.

 

The next meeting is scheduled for August 27, 2018 at 6:00pm at the Alano Club.

 

Secretary Report: Angie Z.-When we send flyers around, spread the word to your meetings. Carry the message.

P.I. Committee- Angie Z- I brought the invoice from GSO. The invoice is attached. Patty R. is going to volunteer for P.I.. Again ask your meetings for volunteers. We are asking for $15.75 for shipping [which Larry covered) and we need stamps and envelopes, so we are asking for a total of  $35.75

Patty R- There is a carrying case full of information. I’ll sent it to you (Angie Z)

Jim B- If there’s any meetings that want to volunteer Grapevines, we can always use them. We need books again. We got 2 New volunteers.

Dan I- We got 2 summer volunteers. The jail library could use Daily Reflections and soft Big Books

WEBMASTER REPORT: Dan I.- The meeting list has been updated with NEW location for VA meetings and changing the Friday 10 am meeting at the 1^st Lutheran Church to an open meeting. I am nearly done with testing a New format for the WEBSITE. I should have it online before the next District meeting.

Please let me know what changes are desired to announcements on the site.

Since I do not have front page, the program used by Cliff to generate formatted html code, I am manually editing the existing html code using Note Pad.

The AA hotline is operating with no change.

DCM Report: Cindy S.- The 2019 General Service Office Committee is in conflict with Our Spring Conference. They will be switching our SP. Conference.

Patty R- If you need books, or literature. Gloria O is happy to pick them up at the next Assembly August 11. If you can get her the money , no later then Monday August 6, 2018. You can contact Cindy S. or Angie Z for the order. Gloria can pick them up and there’s no shipping charge.                                             

Cindy S- Does it seem to be, that the GSR are not showing up?
