District 17 GSR meeting
The monthly GSR meeting was held September 24, 2018 at the Iron Mountain, Mi. Alano Club. In attendance were: Angie Z, Larry L, Melissa H, Dave M, Betty S, Don L, Bill D, Karen K, Patty R, Cindy S, Jerry P, Brian D.
The next meeting is scheduled for October 29, 2018 at 6:00pm at the Alano Club.
Secretary Report: Angie Z.
We’ve gotten 3 New flyers for distribution. See attached files in your notes. The Curtis Intergroup October 13,2018. Don’t forget the Serenity Re-treat October 10-21, 2018. And any body6 how would like to volunteer for PI committee , please be at the Alno club Saturday October 27,2018 at 11a.m.

Financial Report: Dave G.
Patty R. read the financial report and is attached . Randville made a $50 donation to the PI committee. Thank you, Randville.

Cindy S: had a report from Deb G. the corrections for the woman , is going good. And the schedule i8s made till the end of the year.
Karen K: There a two BIG meetings for the woman.

WEBMASTER REPORT: Dan I.
Dan I: No change in the Hotline. There will be a Workshop the first Saturday of November 3, 2018. at 2 p.m. @ the Alano club for the Hotline.
Karen K: Had a call from the hotline, was able to send her to a meeting. And also saw her around.

PI committee: Angie Z., Bill D. and Patty R.
Angie Z: Got contacts from Channel 3 News, Tony , who is in charge of the PSA’s is looking to see 15 sec/30 sec time span. Also looking at the website to decide which they can use, for Our public. And, hate to inform you, but the rack that was put in the Iron River medical clinic, by one of the Dr.’s, they had not brought it to the Board, to decide as a group. I understand, pick it back up and got the number for the HR person. And also asked the Dr. to bring it to the Board at the next meeting.
Patty R: The Dr. at the IM medical clinic, talked to Patty and let her know that he had to bring it to the board, and will get a hold of Patty. I been talking to the Circulation Manager at these papers , Daily News in IM, Crandon/Goodman news which is Forest paper and at Florence, WI , The Mining paper. Please ask at your meetings, for more volunteers for the PI committee.
Brian: PI committee, call other Districts and ask for help.
Karen K: Call Gloria for the Area PI Chair, his name is James M.
Don L:This committee is just getting off the ground. They /we not need to worry about other Districts.
Bill D: The PI committee is meeting , the Saturday before on District meeting. Which is gonna be October 27, 2018 @ the Alno club @ 11a.m. More Literature, more pamphlets. Many meeting pamphlets, in your meetings places…PI could use more. Talk to your groups for help out. The Librarians say thank you, LOTS OF PAMPHLETS …have walked out of the IM Library. The Welcome Center is letting us put pamphlets in there. Went to see the guy at wishing well, to ask for racks, and he didn’t have anything right now. And Florence, WI has a BIG Info. Center. Thanks to Bruce L. for the information.

DCM Report: Cindy S.
Cindy S: December 8, 2018 Three Lakes, WI is having an open sharing meeting started at 9 a.m. What works and doesn’t work for our Area 74. For PI , don’t forget the Senior Centers. Briding the Gap, I spoke to a gentlemen, trying to get to a meeting, and I called a friend to help. Good man Don to the rescue. He was able to get him to a meeting.

Cindy S: I make a motion for more meeting cards? New supply, and changes of meetings. A box of 1,000 meetings cards.
Don L: A suggestion to go over the corrections, for the meetings cards. If you have any up-dates contact Angie Z., or Cindy S.
Karen K: Did you know…..a group meeting has a # from GSO. Otherwise your just a meeting.
Jerry : How are the meetings going? Does anybody need help? Wed/Sun – Molly @ the Alano club, Vicki has been faithfully showing up , to help , while Molly is gone.
