Financial Report: Dave G.: Financial report attached in this email.
Melissa H.:
Torv T.: Questioned if we should accept a $100 donation from an outside source
“Al-Anon”, due to our 7th Tradition, after debate a vote was cast not to accept the donation, with 4 in favor to accept, 11 not in favor. We will send a thank you card along with the funds back to Al-Anon.
Corrections Report: Debbie G.: A new schedule has been done with 5 women rotating meetings through June. Everything is about the same. Sometimes the two blocks take 1/2-hour terms, sometimes only one block has a meeting. The number of women always varies.... we just do what accommodates those in charge. I want to thank all 5 women that give of their time to carry on this jail commitment. If it helps one woman (and I know it has), it’s all worth it. Respectfully submitted, Debbie G, Corrections Co-Chair
Torv T.: I am the only one at this time going into the jail at this time and can use help, I have asked a couple of people and are waiting on their answer. Also, Torv asked for 6 12X12 soft cover books to bring into the jail and that was approved.
WEBMASTER REPORT: Cliff W.:
Have began being active to keep the district 17 website updated as well as the website at Hostek Web Host site for District 17. This has been performed in my home office.
Current website was created way back in 2005 using software called Front Page by Microsoft. This software was discontinued in 2010 and is completely obsolete today. In order to continue to manage changes on website, webmaster must have new software and design a new webpage for website. All current files stored for website can be (hopefully) converted for the new webpages. Also, webmaster should purchase a flash drive to download all new website files and software used as this can be handed to replacement webmaster in future turns.
The District website recorded _178_ Home
page hits in the past 2-months with the counter at 24,003 total hits as of
1-27-20.
Living my life 1-day at a time,
Cliff W.

INTER-GROUP COMMITTEE: Pam T.: The flyer has been put together and is being distributed, also Pam T. asked that her name be put on the checking account for the Inter-Group, the vote was approved.
