                         A.A. Area 74, District 17 Corrections Report 30 June, 2009

I learned at last district meeting that Harry S from Iron Mountain and Kevin H from Pembine where doing the Florence Meeting, taking over for Terry M.

Our candidate (Debbie G) for the women’s meeting was quickly approved and we have been in three times together learning the ropes.  I must admit that I admire her sincerity and manner.  She will be good at hosting this meeting.  We are working on developing a team of women to host this meeting, leaving it flexible for those that can't make a sure commitment.

Ken W. has been doing the jail meeting for twenty-five years and has a candidate for the position which we will discuss and vote on at this meeting.  Some issue about approval will need to be discussed. 

 Our little gal Betty S called me and she wants to get involved with the women's meeting so will working on getting her approved after District approval.

I brought a can of coffee in when I dropped of the letter requesting Debbie’s approval and also brought another in last week, this leaves me with a reserve of eight.  

Have not had any confirmation on status of Camp Ottowa meetings, Keith K. said he would let me know.
