Corrections Report:

Dennis bought new coffee pot and has 4 cans of coffee left.  Katie started doing jail meetings for women.  We received the pocket-sized big books to donate to jail.  Still need more women volunteers to help w/jail meetings.

Webmaster/Coordinator Report:

It was agreed last month as proposed to change the option #8 contact list with fresh numbers on a quarterly rotation. Beginning April 1, 2010 starts a new quarter (3-months) with the #’s of Cliff W, Steve S, Laura K, and Don L to be replaced with the following:

As Hotline coordinator, I’ve been in the process of updating the Hotline Menu Option #8 Live A.A. Contact Listing.

The goal is to have contact persons available throughout the District close to anyone requesting help by region and this includes female and male participants. Everyone that are listed as a contact person are making a commitment to answer the calls whenever they may come 24/7.

LET IT BE UNDERSTOOD THAT AS A CONTACT PERSON, ONE WILL OPERATE AS IF THE YELLOW PAGES FOR ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS AND NOT JUST A HAND REACHING OUT.

The 0900 AA Hotline ___71____ hits, including ___23___ calls w/no option pressed and six (6) calls using the #8 option.

The District website __63____ hits the past month. mailto: dcm@district17a74.org).

The HP (Hewlett Packard) PSC 1350 all-in-one Printer/Scanner has to manually print copies one at a time. Otherwise it malfunctions causing a delay. I'll continue to work with correcting this problem.

Made no purchases for office supplies with advance money from the District in the past month.

Living my life 1-day at a time,

Cliff W. (Webmaster/coordinator, District17)

Archives Report:

John R. filed last month’s meeting & written cabinet it up to date.  Still looking for group histories.

Public Information:

James B. handed in receipts to Joanne B.  James is concerned about cashing the check we gave him because he stated the public places (i.e Grede) can afford to buy books and doesn’t want to seem promotional.

DCM Report:

Bruce went to delegates workshop.

The decision for the district to pay the rent for 6 months or until self supporting for a step meeting was passed.  There was a majority “yes” vote from the groups.      The money has been allocated and whenever that meeting gets started the money will be there for that.

Other News:

Marion H. stated that the Florence meeting is at 7pm not 7:30 Tues. night.

The meeting closed with the Lord’s Prayer.

 Respectfully submitted,

 Erica H., district 17 secretary.
