Corrections Report 7/31/2012:
Spoke with Dennis and he has reported that he has 6 cans of coffee in stock for the jail meetings, so we should be good for awhile. Gordy reported that he needed books for the Florence jail meetings and Betty followed up with this—he seems to be Ok for now.
The new schedule for the Women’s meetings in Iron Mountain has been completed through October. Karen will be done at the end of September for this year and we appreciate her service. Katie remains on the first Wednesday of every month and Sandy, Betty, Tracie and Debbie take turns with the rest of the meetings. We continue to encourage the girls to get to a meeting the first day they are released and also to have meetings amongst themselves while in jail, developing a habit of making meetings a priority.
Respectfully submitted………….Debbie G.

Webmaster/Coordinator Report 7/31/2012:
The district office AA Hotline software and computer were operative without a hitch or power outage this past month as I stopped in on a couple of occasions to update option #9 of the AA Hotline and check email updates. Throughout the month was able to perform updates at home adding the district newsletter, the Intergroup minutes, and make changes to announcements. Also spoke to Carol H, who’s recovering from minor surgery and doing great about updating procedures of the office webmaster and coordinator functions.
On Tuesday, July 31 at district office to perform monthly updates and open the downstairs conference room for the monthly district GSR meeting.
The District 17 Office has _300_ meeting cards in drawer divided into stacks of 50 cards.
The 0900 AA Hotline _63_hits, including _20_ calls w/no option pressed that included at least 9 calls from telemarketers and of the 43 option calls 8 chose option #8.
The District website _145_ hits the past month.
Any member of the fellowship with sobriety can become a contact on the option #8 contact listing for a 3-month period. This listing should periodically be updated, especially for those who are about to take a 3-month turn with their listing on option #8. email to:

NEW BUSINESS 7/31/2012:
John R. suggested it may be time to look at printing new meeting cards; therefore we should let area know so information can be provided for new/changed meetings on new cards.
When anyone anywhere reaches out I want the hand of AA always to be there and for that I am responsible.
