Really, if you didnt know the groups and the songs, how could you tell them apart? The final episode of Kingdom is over three hours long. The Boyz have already proven themselves masters of these Kingdom stages, so they arguably have more to live up to that anybody else. BTOB As announced last week, the theme for the battle was To The World, and the competing groups were tasked with remixing one of their songs to put on a performance that they wanted to show to the world.. All groups had their ups and downs, and my rankings changed week to week. 1st place: Mayfly: Hongjoong (Ateez), Bang Chan, Changbin, Han (Stray Kids), Minhyuk (BtoB) But, Im actually enjoying this one because Im breaking it up in chunks and taking my time watching it without the pressure of staying totally up to date. Its been complained about at length, but I found the competition-focus in the previous season really draining, (and the show was oddly patronising towards the groups), so im glad that Btob and Ikon were there to bring much needed chill! They were the only one that was so smooth and they definitely had fun in that performance. That said, the remixes all sucked compared to the original songs. Also as much as I love ATEEZ and specifically WAVE, I dont think that their version of WAVE was executed well, they changed the whole vibe of wave in a weird way. I dont have many posts but I will hopefully have more in the future! BTOB was nice since theirs was different and they actually seemed to sing live (thank god). I get the sense that exposure is more important to them than ranking, but of course you want your work to be appreciated. I said I was going to try to remain neutral, but I cant pretend that Miroh wasnt my favorite song performed on this episode. SF9 was ranked 4th (out of 6) by the experts.
