The District monthly GSR meeting was held on Tuesday, November 27th at the new District 17 Central Office located in the old Re-Entry house on Woodward Ave. in Kingsford. In attendance was Cliff W, Dennis S, Steve S , Bruce L, Aaron H, & Rob A.
The meeting opened with the Serenity Prayer.

District 17 Central Office: The new District office is up and running in the Community substance abuse building located on Woodward Ave. in Kingsford. See details on our website. Link is below.
0900 – The 0900 Hotline is functioning and getting calls each day. The 0900 number and computer housing it will be transferred to the District 17 Central Office located in the Community Substance Abuse building located in Kingsford this month if possible.

Elections of Officers and GSR’s – The District meeting in December will be the election of officers for two year terms (DCM, alternate DCM, Treasurer, and Secretary) to take effect on January 1, 2008. If no one shows up to vote for the 3rd month in a row then the terms will expire with no committee members voted in. We may continue serving without re-election in temporary capacity. We need GSR’s who will attend district meetings.
Contributions – Thank you for all the financial support, it has enable the district to move forward on the items we have voted for. If your group is not contributing to the District Treasury please consider doing so. A 60/30/10 split is the suggested formula.
Financial Security – Please, ask your treasurer for a full accounting This is the group’s job.
New Meetings – Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m. Fire Hall in Carney. This meeting is a transfer of the AA Group from Wallace on Monday at 7 p.m. that no longer is meeting.
Meeting Cards – Meeting cards will again be printed after the first of the year. Suggestions are being solicited for any changes or additions. Your input is needed now If you need cards let Steve S. (DCM) or your GSR know.
District Meetings (GSR) will be held the last Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the new District 17 Central Office in the Community Substance Abuse Building in Kingsford.
