DISTRICT 17 NEWSLETTER

June 24th, 2008

The District monthly GSR meeting was held on Tuesday, June 24th at the new District 17 Central Office, located in the old Re-Entry house, 373 Woodward Ave. in Kingsford. In attendance were Cliff, Bruce, Steve, Todd, Harry, Debbie, Joanne, John, & Jen.

Corrections: No corrections report this month. Hope you’re feeling better Dennis. We miss you.

Financial: See financial report on provided our District 17 Treasurer, Bruce L. Bruce has compiled a chart of all the meetings in the district to see who is actually donating. Per usual, it’s the same groups. Bruce has also compiled a mid-year financial statement which shows exactly where & how the group’s donations to the district have been used. It was suggested that we send this document along with a letter to the contact person (&/or GSR) for each of the meetings to suggest that they consider donating. It was also agreed to NOT post the charts at our website http://district17a74.org

2009 Spring Conference:

Computer: Steve suggested that he would buy a UPC power back-up & check to see how it works with our system. If it works, the district can vote on whether to reimburse him. If not, he’ll use it at home, & the district won’t be out any $$.

The meeting closed with The Our Father.

The next district meeting will be held at 6:30 PM Tuesday, July 29th, 2008 at the new District 17 Central Office, located in the old Re-Entry house, 373 Woodward Ave. in Kingsford.
